Important Notice: Change in Core Banking System

Dear Customer,

Union National Bank (UNB) is in the process of changing its Core Banking System to provide you with a more convenient banking experience and superior customer service. The transition to the new core Banking system is scheduled to take place between Thursday, 4th July and Saturday, 6th July, 2013.

Impact on services during System Change
  1. Branches & Other Channels
    During the transition period, some of our Banking Services will get disrupted. We would like to keep you informed about the timings and duration of service unavailability of branches and various channels well in advance, in order for you to plan your banking transactions and minimize the inconvenience that might be caused.

  2. Services Impacted From To
    Branches (Including Islamic Banking Services) & Affiliated Departments All UNB branches will be closed on Saturday, 6th July 2013
    ATM* - Debit /Credit Card & POS 1:00 AM on 7th July 6:00 AM on 7th July
    Uninet - Online Banking Service 5:00 PM on 4th July 8:00 AM on 7th July
    IVR 5:00 PM on 4th July 8:00 AM on 7th July
    Mobile Banking 5:00 PM on 4th July 8:00 AM on 7th July

    * During transition period Cash Withdrawal, Cash Deposit, Balance Enquiry, Mini statement and Point of Sale transactions will be available.UNB Debit cards will not work on other bank ATMs. UNB Credit Cards will continue to work as normal.

  3. Cheque Clearing and Payment services
    Cheque Clearing and Payment services, including salary transfers, will not be available on Saturday, 6th July 2013. All cheques deposited after cut off time (10.00 am) on Thursday, 4th July 2013 will be processed on Sunday, 7th July 2013.

  4. Standing Orders
    All Standing Order scheduled on Saturday, 6th July 2013 will be processed on Sunday, 7th July 2013.

All our banking services will be restored on Sunday, 7th July 2013.
